Join David Metcalf and myself as we continue to venture into wonderful Vietnam for an awesome photography tour in Feb 2019.

Described as one of the most intoxicating places on earth,Vietnam is an amazing country and offers incredible variety for the passionate photographer.

We will point our lenses at stunning landscapes and soaring Mountains in the Northern part of this country, and the hill tribes of the area, including bustling colourful market scenes as many of the tribes gather to trade their locally produced products.

We will head into the rural areas and search for those classic images of peasant woman in conical hats working in the fields, children riding buffalo along country roads and then beautiful Halong Bay as we cruise around the waterways of this large bay, discovering hidden coves andvisiting small villages and capturing the magic light in the late afternoon.

Huge peaks will be all around us as we sail by, the shutters in overdrive.
We will have two days of street photography in Hanoi, one of the most vibrant and exciting cities on the planet, and you will learn the techniques of one of the most difficult aspects of photography.
Then to the historical streets of Hoi An for architectural and people photography.

We will visit fishing villages and small cultural villages in this area and we finish off with the opportunity to photograph wildlife, the very photogenic Langurs in the forest near Danang.

In terms of variety Vietnam is unmatched and we will photograph terraced rice fields, lush green forests, traditional cultures, street scenes, seascapes, waterfalls and rivers, wildlife, ancient towns and villages and most of all spend time with the friendly, welcoming Vietnamese people in their own country.
