We travel by 4WD on the dirt road to Cape Leveque with a stop at Beagle Bay for morning tea and our first shoot of the trip at the beautiful Beagle Bay church and it pearl shell interior.

We then make our way to Cape Leveque and our accommodation at Kooljaman at Cape Leveque Resort, where we are greeted with lunch and a warm welcome.

Day Two

Sunrise shots down on main beach for those early risers or an early morning bird shoot, the choice is yours.

After a lovely breakfast we will head out on our Aboriginal guided tour to special spots only accessible with a local Aboriginal guide. Here we will have the opportunity for a range of images from landscape, wildlife and macro and even some environmental portraits of our fabulous hosts.
Our days will revolve around the sunrise and sunset, the tides and of course the time of year, so a flexible itinerary is a must in this region.
Off to our sunset shoot location.
After Dinner we will head out for our night sky shoot.

Day Three
This morning we have the optional scenic flight to the Horizontal Falls that will take off from Kooljaman airstrip for a spectacular flight over the 1,000 island of the Buccaneer Archipelago. Or, join a whale watching cruise right in middle of peak migration season.

After your feet are back on the ground we head over to the eastern side of Cape Leveque to Ardyaloon Community at One Arm Point. Here you will have the opportunity to photograph some amazing landscapes and massive tidal movements as well as visit the Ardyaloon Trochus Hatchery & Aquaculture Centre.

The adventure never stops as we drive back along the red Pindan track and into Broome by late afternoon to our accomodation.

Farewell dinner and a whole lot of laughs will finish off a fantastic journey through the Kimberley.

About Pamela Jennings:

Pamela is based in Broome, north Western Australia. She operates an Indigenous tourism consulting business and Pamela Jennings Photography. It’s no surprise then that she specialises in wildlife and wilderness photography from remote areas of northern Australia.

Her passion for photography developed early and grew as she photographed her way around Australia as a teenager more than 30 years ago. Since that time she has combined her love of photography in every aspect of her work and play. She has photographed the Kimberley from land, sea, air and under the sea!

Her first solo exhibition was an outdoor installation on giant cubes in Darling Harbour in Sydney during May 2015, as part of the HeadOn Photo Festival 2015. And in 2014 her works were part of the exhibition that was shown in Sydney, New Zealand, China and New York for the HeadOn Photo Festival 2014.
Pam’s images have gained many awards including Gold at the International Pano Awards 2015, Silver at the National Australian Professional Photographers Awards 2015, Silver with Distinction at the WA Australian Institute of Professional Photographers Awards 2015 and Silver and Bronze in the International Loupe Awards 2014.

Her images have been published in national wilderness and conservation publications, travel industry promotions and publications, national fishing and outdoor magazines and other media.
